Let's hope he walks away and we don't witness the indignity of a broken man and fighter being further embarrassed.

That video he put out made me be a little bit sick in my mouth. I used to love him. I can’t ****ing stand him now though.

Agreed. Full of self-importance and ego. He has a 2000-word statement on his website. I mean, who really gives a ****? He's a narcissist, not a fighter.

Shame he didn’t retire after the first Bellew fight...though I guess there was still that seed of doubt that he could win the fight...

    Promised much, delivered little

Other than levelling out a prime Chisora he didn’t do anything special at HW.

He also gave us the “Toe” excuse. A first in boxing.

Isn't this something like the 3rd/4th time this fraud has announced his retirement from boxing?

I won't belive Haye has actually gone until he's in a box underground.

Where there's a pound note, David Haye won't be far behind.

So his achievements at Cruiserweight count for nothing?

He should have called out Fury and we could watch them fight each other to retirement.

He became unified champion at CW by beating Jean Marc Mormeck- yes that is undoubtedly his career best win.

However, as he only defended that once against a Chinny Enzo and then came straight to HW. His career will be judged mainly on his HW record...

If memory serves, nobody knew Enzo was that chinny at the time and a lot of people had it as a 50 -50 fight.I also think he took a lot away from Macarinelli that night due to the manner of the destruction. For those reasons along with it being a unification, and Haye badly struggling to make cruiser,I think it was a very good defence and one worthy of credit when looking at his resume.

Im not saying anything against him he helped the sport by converting casual fans to boxing fans . This is importand because with out the fans There would be no dust ups in the small halls or the big arenas
