its great to see top fighters fight each other, we have seen a lot this year, and there's some great fights to come 2013 could be a great year for boxing.

Further some great fights in the lower divisions too, good to see if your a fan,

There has been a few good hw fights this year, if the big ones coming up (Wlad - Povetkin, Haye - Fury) don't disappoint, it'll be one of the best years in the last few for the division (isn't saying much as it has been so weak lately, but possibly starting to look up a little)

:huh The HW div. improved greatly after the Soviet East Euro block opened up. It's never been better... unless it's only a good HW era when the US is on top :-(

Wlad vs Povetkin is good. But Vitali continues to shamelessly duck Wlad and Haye so it could be much better.

Wlad/Povetkin, Haye/Fury, Thompson/Pulev, Arreola/Mitchell, Vitali/Stiverne and Chisora vrs. EBU opponent are coming up. The division is about to get cleaned up and rearranged. Then we could see 1-2 legit challenges to Wlad in 2014.

Solis has taken care of toughman Larsen and just beat Saglam in impressive fashion.
His knee seems to be fairly stable, and I think he's due to step back in vs a Dimitrenko or a Pianeta in his next bout.

Andy Ruiz similarly finished off unbeaten Joe Hanks. It was his first truly legit test, so I'd like to see him fight a genuine world level journeyman like Bydenko, Bahtov, or Pala.

Still waiting from the Mago camp if there gonna continue fighting lower ranked names, or if there genuinely gonna make a move into the top 50. A fight with an iron chin like Williams would be nice, but would it aid in his development. Maybe a fight with DelBoy would prove he's the goods.

Also, Jennings seemed to struggle to get his jab going against iron chinned Fedosov whose defense was perfectly suited to Jennings longarmed attack. He seemed to be able to anticipate everything Jennings threw and was able to follow his jab inside to get to Bye body. Thats a weakness Jennings will have to work out while he moves forward. Perhaps a lateral move against someone with a bit less iron in the beard would suit Bryant. I wonder if a fight with Aussie banger Shane Cameron could be arranged. It would be a huge step up vs a versatile smallish HW, but it would test Bye punch resistance but also allow him to prove his own ever improving power.:think

...This is straigh up BS. The HW division is weak and has been for years. And this is coming from a caucasian European. Klitchkos are good and would be good in any era. Then there is Haye who has prooven to be good and i believe he would be a top HW in many other eras.
Besides those two i see no one of note. Adamek and Povetkin got their **** pushed in by Cruiserweights.
Pulev has beaten a few decent journeyman level fighters and is unproven.
    Solis is wasted talent.
The whole division is basically B level heavyweights and the champs are world class.

There are talented fighters out there but i just don´t see that world class talent.
It´s a weak era. It´s as bad as the Cruiserweights.

This year has definitely been a good year for contenders and prospects facing off against one another and it has made the division much more interesting than it has been for a long time. Hope this trend continues.

But it's still a weak era the talent simply isn't there apart from a few fighters.

i think the only problem hw have is that theres not a super hw division....when you have tall fighter like wlad and vit that out weights people for 30 pounds thers always going to be a big problem
