I finally realized today why it is that I just dont and have never liked the Klitschko reign as heavy weights.

Here is the thing: Their entire strategy is to win fights within the rules but not within the spirit of boxing. They don't win fights, they just gain boxing victories.

They are strong and well conditioned guys that have come to realise that their superior size allows them to drain fighters of their energy by holding, leaning and clinching. They have learnt they can win boxing contests within the rules without actually having to fight a proper fight.

Its very much like when Tim Ferris (an absolute beginner with no experience or skill whatsoever) won the kickboxing championship of the world within the rules but very much not within the sporting spirit:

"Ferriss has stated that, prior to his writing career, he won in the 165 lb. weight class at the 1999 USAWKF national Sanshou (Chinese kickboxing) championship [100][101][102] through a process of shoving opponents out of the ring[100] and by dramatically dehydrating himself before weigh in, and then rehydrating before the fight in order to compete several classes below his actual weight"

I believe that is the problem withy the Klitschkos...they hold titles on paper but are not Chamions in any sense of the meaning.

They abuse their size/popularity, it is nothing new there. They should at least make it entertaining.

Wlad and Bountey made a business out of boxing. Wlad sucks the passion out of the sport fighting in a soul-less suit wearing number crunching style.

You Brit ***s hypocrites hoped you had a carbon copy of Wladimir in Price before he was exposed as a domestic fragile sorry excuse of a boxer.

Not sure why you are treating both brothers alike. Vitali is nothing like his disgraceful brother (which you accurately described).

I don't think the extent of the holding was within the rules last night.
