I think 160 is too much for Miguel, he is even too small for a jr. middleweight.
    Thoughts?

If Maravilla isn't Cleveland Williams type shot, I can only see a stoppage win for him. Cotto is one of my favorite fighters, but 160 is just too much for him even against current Martinez.

I dont like this fight for Cotto, too small for the weight. Really hope he can win though.

Excellent news. I was worried there was a catchweight for this.

He still has the fighting style to trouble Martinez who hasn't looked good in his recent fights. The last time Martinez looked good was two years ago.

Cotto is in with a real chance here. Martin Murray beat Martinez(got jobbed), and he has absolutely nothing on Cotto.

I agree. Murray gave Martinez serious problems with his strength coming forward, but he covered up that much he didn't let enough shots go IMO. I thought Murray had just edged it, but i understand how he didn't take the belts home as he gave Martinez too much respect.
There is no chance Cotto wont let his shots go. Cotto is a serious operator and his shots are so accurate. I can see Cotto going to Martinez's body and slowing him down and dragging him into a fight, but with Martinez being the bigger man I can still see him being able to overpower Cotto even in this type of fight.
I know we would rather see Martinez-GGG or even the Murray fight again, but i can see this fight turning out to be a good battle. I think Martinez wins it though.

i don't see cotto winning here. 160 is a bridge too far even against a shop worn martinez. but it's a good move for cotto nonetheless. he can lose and look good doing it, drop back down and get another pay day against canelo if he wants. i doubt he'd get a martinez shot if he fought canelo and lost, however.

    Except two natural weight classes.

Two of my favorite fighters, credit to cotto for stepping up, but I think it is a step to far personally. It would take a serious martinez decline plus Cotto to be on top form for this to go his way. Looking forward to this fight, but can only see one winner.
