Leddermen stated defense should make up 25% of your round score. I dont think its an official rule and i think effective aggression should always be the majority scoring criteria

Alex you are according to james5000 a reasonable poster and obviously if you were to flip those razor close rounds to Jacobs than he wins 114-113

In your estimation did compubox short change Jacobs a lot of punches?

For example compubox only gave Jacobs 26 punches thrown in round 1 and I counted 40.

26 is not a reasonable number and is utterly disgraceful. Jacobs was busier in round 1 and punches landed were very even?

You gave Rnd 12 as a 10:8 to Jacobs?

What MVC means is that if you can go 12 rounds without being hit you have to win. What a great interpretation of boxing.

Why do people respond seriously to MVC? He's trolling the **** out of you.

Clearly he's only posting that because of all the trolling he's done about Mayweather.

    It's all an act.

It wasn't even close. 115-112. Scored a KD and landed more punches in more rounds.

No need to science the **** out of this one … Get over it. GGG fought a smart fight.

The great philosopher Edmund Burke put it perfectly back in 1791:

I had Golovkin by 1 point upon re-watching. I had it 1/2 points for Jacobs originally.
It's still so close and could've went either way.

Thank you. This is pretty much what I was saying. Golovkin is NOT flashy, he always does just enough to get the job done defense wise.

This is his A-game, and it'sa very spartan, economical and boxing-first approach.

What he does with guys that he knows he can walk through is the Willie Monroe / Dominic Wade treatment, where he ships punches and swings for the fences in a "streetfight".

There's no way that he could disrespect Jacobs like that; DJ too big, too strong, hits too hard.
