It was a damm good body shot, credit to Hatton, it was legit to me, I have looked at the video four times. In fact, I think it was the body shots that preceeded the KO blow that hurt Castillo (about 2:42, and 2:44 Youtube time) and set up the KO. Now on to Castillo, if you look at 2:56 of the video (again Youtube time) you will see Castillo´s leg buckle before he takes a knee. At 2:59 min you can see Castillo try to get up and his leg buckles again. I believe that if he wanted it bad enough he could have gotten up, but Hatton would have made short order of him. The body work was skillfull, props to Hatton. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UeYWanxhfs
I concur! HBO's standards hav dropped drastically. Many factors have caused such ademise of a once dynamic commentary team. Lampley has all of a sudden become the Boxing pugilist at analysing whats happening in the ring. Lederman, well Lederman always has been Lederman. Kellerman is a bloody git and needs to pull out his finger thats in his arsehole. (The way he talks annoys the **** outta anybody). Steward seems bloody depressing as every fight goes by. Coming back to the post, Yea i re watched the Kayo and noticed that hatton was very incessant in his bodywork. When he has faith in his ability to invest in the body, he can pretty much have anyone.
Castillo wasn't out of their because he was shot, he was out of there because he took a power shot, right into the ribs. The fight told us little about Castillo's current state, positive or negative.
If you've ever been hit with a good shot to the body, not necessarily from a punch either, then it can feel excruciating. So it's little surprise a guy might be hurt enough not to be able to beat a 10 second count. I've been hurt to the body and felt it for several days. He may have been able to get up in the sense that he could have stood on his two feet. But he'd probably have been in total agony and gotten knocked out straight away.
**** off *****. BTW Hatton has been ducking PBF not the other way around. Learn the facts before popping off at the mouth dumbass!:deal
Yes, he looked slow the entire fight, which does tell us something. Along with his last fight, he is certainly done at the top level.
It was a legit shot. When he landed it and heard the big 'thump' I knew Castillo was gonna be hurt bad from that and down he went. The KO was good, but Castillo obviously looked like he had seen his better years. Slow, unbalanced, less sharp, but even then he was still highly ranked and highly regarded so its a good win for Hatton non the less.
One of them is retired...one isn't. Looks like FLoyd doesn't want to fight anyone but the Golden Goose.... BTW, is that racist? What color IS Floyd's ass then? :huh
