Finally saw Marquez/Pacquiao II

Funny how some of you are quick to point the finger at the judge who made a 1 point mistake but never even mention the worse judge of the night(J. Stewart) who gave Pac 7 rounds, when it was obvious Pac did not convincingly win more than 4 rounds, tops!

 

9/10 is not...but perhaps 6/10 that jmm wins, means pac got that 4 going in his last 2 fights

It was a DAMN close fight but PAC won the fight a close margin that is why I like the pac vs jmm III too!

Yes, he used his technique wisely by holding on to the ROPES. If JMM was hit in the middle of the ring ( NO ropes to hold on!) his ass could have kissed the canvass AGAIN.

You could have said... He succeeded in avoiding his ass to hit the CANVASS for the 5th time by holding on the ROPES!!!!

Well it appears we have a 'Marqtard' in the thread.

 

jmm had 5 convincing rounds (2,5,6,8,12), pac also had 5 (3,4,9,10,11) including the 10-8 round. the very close rounds was 1 and 7. round 1, i gave to pac and all the judges also gave it to pac. round 7 was very close and could really be given to any of them but i gave it to jmm. by the end of the 8th round, jmm led 5-3 in my scorecard getting 4 consecutive rounds [5,6,7,8] but pac came storming back to take the next 3 rounds (9,10,11). 6-6, 114-113pac. This has been my original scorecard since i first watched the fight in ppv. i have never changed it even after rewatching the fight already 5 times.

let me remind you of the official scorecards. Its because i want everyone to be clear of round 1 issue. All 3 judges(means that includes the guy who had marquez winning) had round 1 for pac

 

just like what theunderdog said, this **** is getting old! seriously, we've been over this debate a million times and we already know each ESBers opinions about this matter.

let's just all hope pac and jmm will meet each other again since they will always compliment each other's styles and will always be compatible as dance partners. end of thread.

yep. i did give pac round 1 even before knowing that all the judges gave it to him. i guess i got subsequently influenced by the jmm fanatics here that the round was supposedly close than it really was. :-(
