I finally saw the fight internet was down. It proved to be way more interesting than I thought. Many things to be said. I did not find the fight to be boring it actually exceeded my expectations I expected a one sided affair with nothing from Johnson and that he would fold when the going got tough. Is Vitali getting old in there? I did not like some of his foot work in there nor did I like the arm punching. I feel like he was not fluid enough. That fight should not have went 12, did he carry him to get some rounds in or is it just the short notice. He did not seem to realy try to get him outa there he did get aggressive at times but i think if he tried that would only have went 8 or 9. Johnson to his credit did something only one man has ever done. People on the forum were giving him 3 rounds. People really thought the guy was a big stiff. Unlike Gomez and Peter he did not give up or pack it in at anytime. He was tough to hit hands up used his shoulders. Though it seemed survival was good enough for him. He'd talk Vitali would hit him he'd throw Jabs after Vitali was out of range. He did not seem to try to win. He landed nothing of consequence and seemed content to lose every round. Though he did get Vitali a bit out of his game with the head games it seemed Vitali got the last laugh though obviously provoked the hand raises in the 12th when has he ever taunted. Where does each go. Vitali has an elimination Solis-Austin Solis I dont know enough about and he KO'd Barrett but that proves nothing to me. Austin should be easy though Austin has been dangerous latley. My question is how much does Vitali have in the tank. His feet seemed off at times even throwing on foot or walking and throwing never seemed to be planted. he threw many arm punches. His authority with the left was kind of weak but the right was very good just not enough. Is Vitali old or was it the short time since Areolla can he beat Haye. I still think so because he is no Valuev. A big imobile target that only throws jabs. Vitali knows how to cut off a ring ask Johnson and Gomez. Though Johnson did have great defense something Haye does not have. Johnson? He certaintly came out unscathed as he had no cuts bruises KD's or was at all wobbled. He to me though is a classless piece of ****. Put more effort in the post fight than the real fight and was disrespectful. I'm not a hater on threads saying he did not deserve a shot I defended him and when people said he would only make 3 rounds I said he'd go atleast 8 and he surprised me going 12. Though what shocked me is de did not rus he actually was on the ropes alot or even in the middle. I think had Johnson been more aggressive the fight would have been very good but he would have been stopped

Christ........ All in all, Vitali Klit is indeed aging but still capable and spry enough to rule the division in 2010........ BUT! Styles make fights............ If you put V.K. in with a slugger who likes to brawl such as "Peter and Arreola," you'll see how good and accurate V.K. is with his punches, etc.... He does a paint job on them types........... If Vitali Klit is placed in there with a slick mo-fo who is slippery like "Gomez and Johnson," people scoff and cry that V.K. is slowing down and fading....... Either way, he still manages to win.....

The sad thing is that you wasted your time writing all of this on probably the worst fight of the last ten to fifteen years.

Like Lewis said, he Vitali did the best he could against such an opponent. Vitali shut Turtle Johnson down, Johnson went into his shell because Vitali threw over 1,000 punches. I have watched the fight several times, Vitali looks better every time. Vitali will knock Haye out, but Haye still refuses to fight him, same goes for fighting Vlad.

I have only saw the last round. I think if Johnson had some offense he might have won. He was clearly making Vitali miss.

Can't tell much from watching Vitali beating on a heavy bag. Bags do not hit back.

I think Arreola is the best American heavyweight. Gomez had over 300 amateur fights for Cuba. People complained about them, but who was better? Haye refused to fight.
