I don't want to give KJ any credit for his shell tactics. Sure, VK outpunched KJ by far. I just wanted to point out the differences to the previous fights. VK didn't excel as expected.

If Arreola landed more hits than KJ, I'm not aware of it. In the previous three fights VK seemed almost untouchable (I did'nt check compustats).

KJ had enough reach and a fast left jab to touch VK in the face repeatedly. VK often has next to no guard up, and stands in front of his opponent, open mouth, chin wide open. If KJ had the power jab of a Wladimir or of Haye, Vitali would have been in trouble.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Agree.

Vitali showed he's still got his skills intact. Just cause Johnson stayed away all night don't mean Vitali's power is not still there.

I guess when Wlad went the distance with Ibragimov, that must have mean he was slipping, and his power was no lonegr there. :-(

Johnson won the event. He went the distance. He has my respect and Vitali won't give him a rematch because he's scared.

Nuthugger. You know it's the truth. Vitali will run now and avoid the rematch.

    Johnson, you won the event:happy
