Scored it with the volume down. 115-113 win for Horn, where on earth are people getting a "robbery" from? It was a close enough fight but apart from the 9th round, Horn never looked like he was going to lose the fight. There's a tame argument Pac nicked a decision but no way was it a robbery. R1: 10-9 Horn. Good aggressive start, Pacman did nothing. R2: 10-9 Pac. Cleaner work from Pacman. R3: 10-9 Horn. Very close round, hard to split them, just gave Horn the nod. R4: 10-9 Pac. Very close again so gave this one to Pac as Horn got the last nod. R5: 10-9 Horn. Good aggression again from Horn and good inside work. Pac looking complacent. R6: 10-9 Horn. Roughed Pacquaio up, landed more punches and made him look uncomfortable. R7: 10-9 Horn. Instigated all the action, Pacman just not doing enough. R8: 10-9 Pac. Landed the more significant punches. R9: 10-9 Pac. Great round from Pacquaio. The first time we see a flash of the old Manny Pacquaio with accurate combinations landing. Horn shows a great chin. R10: 10-9 Horn. Horn nicks the round with a tremendous comeback. Pac too complacent again. R11: 10-9 Horn. Good inside work wins the round. R12: Pacman takes the round with a couple of glimpses of speed and combinations. If only he done this more. Pacman is a shot fighter. Horn showed great heart and used bully tactics to effect but he's not a guy who will reign long IMO. The Pacman of old gets rid of Horn early. Pac lost his killer instinct around the time he fought Mosley. He's now lost his quick feet and doesn't throw combinations like he used to. The accuracy is gone and he's only going to decline further. He's been a magnificent servant to the sport but I'd like to see him retire now. Well done to Jeff Horn!
its funny how pac faan disclaim compubox when Floyd outland pac but now they are all over it when everybody knows these numbers are bull**** no way pac outlanded horn 2 to 1
And the only reason Horn won one was because Pac was setting him up for the next round. That was Atlas' logic. Horn did nothing. Pac deliberately gave Horn opportunities. Atlas was a numbskull.
i just redid round 1. pac doing nothing in round 1 is a myth - i have him outlanding horn by one punch. horn did more fouling (hooking behind pac's head and neck).. with two blatant fouls close to the end (around 11seconds before bell) with pushing pac down and then smacking immediately with a right punch before pac even got up to recover.. pac had that wtf look on his face.. what the hell was wrong with the ref.
Well as youve said many rounds were very close, reason horn won is fight held in his country, 2 headbutt frequent headlock and pushing (no point deduction) knock down should be count but ref ruled it pushed, but there is a punch.
I had it 115-113 for Manny, but during the fight Manny had a look on his face like ,,this ain't part of the plan, doesn't he know this isn't a show? I wonder if this will convince Manny to quit, I mean if he comes back and beats this school teacher nobody will be clamoring for him to fight Thurman will they?
horn fought dirty he gave the illusion he won because he was roughing pac up with head butts pushing him around but he didnt do enough to win hard to keep up with pacs nonstop aggression pac outlanded him landed the more effective punches most people thought he won horn had the home field advantage you saw it on the scorecards one judge had horn up by like 6 the other 2 had him up by 2 it wasnt a close fight nor was it a horn blow out those judges were paid off
