    Canelo 115 Golovkin 113.

For the first time in a while, I scored right along with the judges. Now as many of you know I had the first fight 118-112 Canelo, and giving GGG all the props I could watching it again; I had it 116-112 Canelo. I thought he won easily and was pretty much in line with Adelaide Byrd.

This was a much better fight. First I have to give props to GGG. For a 36 year old, great job. Both guys are excellent high level boxers. Don't really need to see a third though, In my opinion, Canelo beat him juiced with his own fight plan, and clean, being goaded into fighting the way GGG wanted him to fight. In May, GGG is older, but if another 20 million is on the line, they will do it. Neither one wants to put their guy in with a massive athletic young guy like Charlo, although Canelo seems like he will fight anyone.

Both guys are excellent boxers, but that lack that "umph" that superstars have. Deontay Wilder is a crap boxer but his speed, size, power and grasshopper-like reflexes have him 39-0. Neither Canelo or GGG has this sort of athleticism.

GGG still has pretty good reflexes but his leges look almost gone. Canelo, again fought the absolute worst fight you can do against an old guy...and he still won; when you fight an old guy you either get in his face and make him wrestle you like Smith did to Hopkinds and Chenko did to Rigo, or you run like a thief for a few rounds and make him chase you, like Khalid Rahilou did to Frankie Randall. GGG stood right in the middle of the round and didn't make GGG use his legs at all. Doesn't bode well for a 3rd fight.

In any event both guys are HOFers, it was a great, entertaining event, and a boon for boxing. Canelo should the fans that he is, "a true Mexican" and the he can fight without the juice. GGG showed the fans that he has a fighting heart, and that he can sell an event. What else can we ask for.

I respectfully disagree with your scoring in both fights and feel Canelo is as athletic as Wilder but agree with most everything else so cheers man. Great fights indeed.

True to form, what a shock. Have you ever thought about upsetting the apple cart and actually scoring the match correctly to GGG or a draw instead yet another stale biased agenda driven troll thread?

Well now, upseting the apple cart would have have meant lying, because I scored the fight 115-113 Saul "Canelo" Alvarez...As did two of the judges, and most of the boxers, journalists, and onlookers....Oh, and GGG's trainer.

And yeah, I guess I scored for the white "fake Mexican" over the Asian guy, so what is my agenda again? I actually like Golovkin more than Canelo, because, well, ODLH seems like a wierdo and makes me want to wretch. *

*As a 30 year old, he was a FAR superior fighter to either of these guys though.

Most people thought Golovkin won, just like the first fight. Nice try though.

In other words, you're a scoundrel like the paid off phony judges and the rest of the filth that run that mob haven known as Las Vegas, who opportunistically jump on the... you know, he "officially" won bandwagon and ride it for all its worth and hide behind.

Who said Canelo was a fake Mexican? He's white, as are many Mexicans. And?

De La Hoya lost to Sturm, he'd get his **** pushed in by both of them, sure, maybe down at 154 he'd be able to beat Canelo, but the version that GGG beat and got no credit would disembowel Oscar far worst than B-Hop.

What was that about most of the boxing journalists scoring it for Canelo again

Same score I had and it was a great fight. I would have been fine with those official cards for either fighter too cause it was a close fight and lot of swing rounds.

Most people don't use the 10 point system.

We had people in my thread swearing up and down GGG won because he landed more jabs. Lmao

For the first fight, I would agree with those numbers. GGG clearly won. But the second, no. Canelo won. If those press scores are real it really just proves how agenda driven even people who did this for a profession are.

Remember the card that had Canelo in a draw against Mayweather? :risas3:
People don't usually score for people coming forward and getting their head jabbed off either.

You ready to defend your PED 'stats' yet?

You are the only person Ive seen think it was Golovkin, and not Canelo, that did a better job in the rematch. Odd. But to each their own I suppose.

I mean GGG did land better blows in the 2nd fight. But GGG won the first because of Canelo being too inactive and inconsistent.
