I don't think it was a heart issue, it's not like he was a ***** or anything, if he was he would've quit in the rosario, and chavez fights, where he got the **** beated out of him(specially against rosario who is considered one of the best punchers in the history of the sport). I just think that after the rosario fight he thought that he didn't have to take that punishment again.
Camacho had amazing heart and durability. His style wasn't the most awe-inspiring past a certain point of his career(we all know which), but he showed great heart in that he was never stopped from 130 to 168 facing the immense competition he faced, even while past his prime. As for a prime Camacho, he was brilliant.
