lol! This guy has to be one of the stupidest boxers in history... okay if he manages to get more money out of them, fair play to him, but he's playing a dangerous game here as I get the feeling the WBC are either running out of patience with him, or the light is being shone directly on them and they are going to have to do something about the belt being held hostage.

One thing does seem certain, Wilder and/or his team want to keep him as far away from AJ as possible. If Klitschko does make a return and decides to go for the WBC strap as it's the one he never had, I can't see him winning that. Even at 40+ Wlad wipes him out.

Don't think they'd risk Wilder vs even an old Wlad at least not until he's clearly shot. Plus Wlad will likely be signed by DAZN and if Wilder refuses to work with them he'll basically duck every risky fight at heavyweight. He'll end up fighting Breazeale, Kownacki, and any other Haymon heavy that rises up the rankings. Maybe a Ortiz rematch, perhaps Joyce if Joyce keeps winning. Suffice to say he will likely go on a run of defences that people will rightly **** on.

Maybe Wilder has enough money already. I don't even know what someone could possibly spend $100 million on in Alabama.

I think that would buy him the entire state.

Then why was he asking for 50/50 vs Joshua if he has enough money?

Holyfield is from Alabama and he made more than double that over his career and he's spent it all, mainly on divorces and child support. Wilder already has 1 divorce and has 5 children from 3 different women as of now, way he's going he's going to end up just like Holyfield so he better get as much money as he can, while he can.

He also has a daughter with a serious and permanent medical condition so there's that to factor into. That's not taking into account the various altercations him and his crew have got into over the years.

In a way it doesn't really matter how much money he earns. He'll lose it all one way or another. Just too many holes in that bucket.

I can't conceive that Wilder would be that foolish to turn down the DAZN deal. TBH he's not even worth that deal and nothing in his career to date can even justify those numbers. I'm of the opinion that Hearn was low balling him and that he should've turned down the original Joshua offer (it worked out by fighting Fury even though Wilder really lost), but the DAZN deal is an amazing one.

    He needs better handlers..............

Let's wait and see what deal he signs and with whom, but unless it's $100mn or more, I can only assume this decision is fuelled by AJ/Hearn hatred.

If DAZN really offered him $100mn guaranteed for tho3 fights he'd be mad not to take it.

Weed, cornbread and hoes. It's going to be funny watching Wilder saying 'Joshua turned down my $50 million youtube contract' if he lets $100 million slide. Although out of all the heavyweights I've ever seen, Wilder is cleverly the most self-conscious about his health. Probably knows he can get that under the table money from Haymon for easy fights and dives.
