On March 31, the new WBA ratings dropped.

Deontay Wilder is the new #1 contender. Now we just need Dubois to take the "step aside" and Usyk-Wilder is on!

Shelley Finkel still working the phones.

What makes you think he needs to avoid it for 12 rounds ?

And there's nothing to suggest that Wilder can land a flush right on Usyk.

It's not fair that they're throwing Usyk in front of these giant monsters. Joshua, Fury, Wilder.

Usyk is not superman, he is made of flesh and bones. He got great damage in AJ fights, and he's 36. They should first match Fury with AJ and then AJ with Wilder.

Because the only types of fighters that Usyk can stop are bums like Chazz Witherspoon, past-prime has-been fighters like Marco Huck, and never-was fighters like Tony Bellew.

The man barely even put a dent in ancient gatekeeper Derek Chisora who loses to anyone with a pulse.

Wilders KOd every man he’s ever shared a ring with (except prime ATG Fury and he floored him four times) a puffed up cruiser with no pop isn’t going to avoid Wilders power for twelve. Big stiff AJ managed to land easily enough on USKY and he doesn’t have the speed wilder does. He also doesn’t have that ancestral power wilder does. I make wilder ko a sensible pick if they make this one.

Joshua’s name doesn’t belong alongside Wilder and Fury’s.

Wilder is 0-3-0 against elite HW opposition. 0-2-1 If you want to agree with the judges.

    Usyk is 2-0-0.

    No.

I have no more interest in another Fury Wilder bout than another Fury Chisora bout.

    Fury is Wilder's two-time daddy.

    Usyk is AJ's two-time daddy.

The obvious HW fight we need, to any serious fan of the sport, is Fury-Usyk to determine who 's the boss at HW.

Why? Joshua is an olympic gold medalist. He beat Klitschko, Povetkin, Pulev, Parker, Andy Ruiz Jr, Whyte. He has better resume than Fury and Wilder.

You know I would be for Usyk/Wilder. The top guys in the division fighting each other is what should be happening in boxing.

Well AJ, who has serious KO power, didn't manage to hit him cleanly enough to rattle him.

    And he tried...for twenty-four rounds.
