your an idiot, fedor aint breaking **** and the fact is if he wants to make real money fighting he will drop the co-promotional bull**** and fight in the ufc so that not only hardcore mma fans can see him but the casual fans also can see him and judge his dominance for themselves.if he doesnt he will fight for peanuts in some broken down russian auditorium not breaking 500k ppv buys beating up some has been like arlovski, sylvia or never was like hong man choi
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158322 according to the rumormill the talks are going very well. i dont know if finkel backed off of the copromotion b.s. or what but id like to see the deal done. im not holding my breath though
Ooo she's a snappy one, looks as though Fedors breaking your balls too mate. Truth is, Fedor just don't like the American way of dominating everything, Co-Promotion is to mean Co-Exist but I dont expect you to get that. I don't think he cares so much about money and truth is, there is little for him to gain in the UFC that he hasn't already proved the world over. Do you think he cares what a degenerate trailer park beer drinking yankee doodle thinks of his fighting style? I don't.
fedors not breaking my balls at all if he wants to make the really big money he will join the ufc if not then like i said he wont break 500k ppv buys. i understand what co-promotion is and i understand the concept but the ufc is a company that has never entered into those sort of contracts before as a rule, there-fore why should they break their own rules just to sign one guy??? i could see them bending and allowing him to compete in sambo world championships but if they are paying millions to sign fedor why should they allow him to go fight for some other COMPETEING fight org. thats just bad business thats like arum telling pac that he can go fight cotto on goldenboy without arum getting his cut. how would that workout? it wouldnt!!! i would agree there isnt a while lot to gain for fedor fighting in the ufc except like i said MAINSTREAM ACCEPTANCE. Its not about caring what some "degenerate trailer park beer drinking yankee doodle thinks of his fighting style?" as far as that goes i wouldnt know my house has never had wheels or an undercarriage, i very rarely drink beer (im a jamisons or cabo wabo fan) and yeah i live in the Unites States of America. what of it??? if thats your problem then take it to the lounge where dumbasses of all colors and nationalities can spew their baseless hatred and intolerance of other countries and people in a repercussion free environment. But back to the subject, like i said if fedor wants the true mainstream acceptance and with that comes more money than he has ever even dreamed of, then he will sign with the ufc. he doesnt have to make that jump im sure that he has made enough money. i think it is about the dominance for him, there are heavies that he hasnt beaten that are calling themselves world champ. Lesnar, Overeem, and a few others and his best chance to get into one place and face them all would be the ufc. in the ufc there is the most likely chance that they would come to him to fight rather than chasing them from one org to another fighting for peanuts. it just make business sense and businiess cents to go to the ufc for him.
His last PPV did less than 100,000 The UFC's did over 1,500,000. Thats 15x as many, I doubt he is "breaking their balls." Over much of anything. In your world of good guys and bad guys, and your lovely childlike hero worship, I'm sure he's in there giving them a stern talking to about whats what though.
Well this is rather ironic. Dana does whats best for his organisation and promotes the fighters that make him the most money. Finkel does the same in M-1 but you have a problem with that? M-1 certainly dont have as much economic clout as the UFC but hey guess what the UFC was there once. They didnt get big overnight. This is what promotions are all about. Promoters do whats best for themselves. Im sure you understand that Ajax.
Yes, and Finkel is trying to ride the coattails of the UFC while using Fedor to do so might not happen for him. It's the best for M1 but is it the best for Fedor? I'm sure you understand that. And if Fedor signs with the UFC should we put you on suicide watch?
