He should be spending every waking hour, every living minute promoting just Wilder. He talks more about AJ then he does about Wilder, half the time I'm not sure if he promotes Wilder or AJ.
That's interesting that you don't make mention of Eddie Hearn's involvement in this at all. I'm pretty sure he's mentioning Wilder all the time in interviews leading into the Joshua-Povetkin fight. I think both fighter's are using each other's names to build up their fights, a very common routine in the boxing game.
I wouldn't say no chance. There are lots of factors to consider, particularly how the Fury fight sells and how Wilder performs... Whyte 2 is garbage and Hearn knows it.
Differences, big differences, Hearn has done and is doing his job, the Povetkin fight is tomorrow, AJ is regularly filling arenas, doing huge PPV numbers and earning large. In my opinion Hearn has earned the right to talk about whoever he wants, this weekend there is another huge event and it will do very good PPV numbers. Finkel on the other hand, 40 fights plus and Wilder hasn't had a PPV fight, hasnt had a unification fight, hasn't earned big money compared to others.. because let's get it right here.. a couple of YouTubers are currently earning more than Wilder in the ring. Finkel needs to concentrate on Wilder, actually he can also concentrate on Fury, maybe get his backside in to gear and announce a date, venue and details of Wilder Vs Fury instead of banging on about how Wilder Fury is HUGE but then constantly talks about Joshua. It's actually embarrassing.
Like a hooker crawling back to his pimp daddy, lmao. What happened to Fury fight? Why would you want to meet Hearn in the midst of the most important fight of Wilder's career against Fury?
Exactly. 45/55 if Wilder beats Fury would be fair and probably get the job done, or at least it should. If Wilder doesn't fight Fury, then Wilder should accept a 35-38%ish offer, or it would at least be fair. And if AJ doesn't do it, then Hearn really starts to risk the popularity cratering and losing momentum and $.
If they are selling out over 80,000 they aren't struggling... Wouldn't the guy actually struggling to sell out a 20,000 arena be the limited negotiation side? You also have to take into account PPV's which hearsay has it this fight will be the largest Joshua has had so far so I don't get how you guys come to these conclusions? lol Wilder hasn't beat Fury ,so asking for 50 /50 is not reality and tells ANYONE logical they don't really want the fight. Hearn cannot wait for Wilder vs Fury if it does not get made soon or the continued runaround FROM team Wilder......fights NEED to be made in months advance .
That's all that was ever needed to make the fight happen. Make a 30/70 percentage split if they don't want to go 50/50 and we would've been watching Wilder vs Joshua tomorrow night.
Have they sold 80,000? There might be 80,000 there, but rumours are tickets have been given away. PPVs yes of course will tell us a lot. You can’t predict PPVs before the night. That’s nonsense. Hearsay? Based on what? There's no way it will sell more than the Klitschko fight. As for Wilder beating Fury, I did say IF he does and based on PPV performance. Finkel wants to discuss a serious offer. That doesn’t mean a flat fee or lowball percentage. This isn’t about what a fighter is worth, it’s about making the fight happen. “You guys” What does that even mean?
But what about this small little thing of 1% Lol Thought this was the easiest fight ever made either side easy to deal with This content is protected
Not sure why people are suggesting Hearn should be making a larger offer.... Without a Fury fight, Wilder is in a worse position that he was before.
This video is pretty much where my suspicions are about what Fury and Wilder really want: This content is protected
Donkey sold a combined 54,000 tickets for his last 4 fights, AJ sold 323,000 including the Povetkin fight which I've heard they've sold over 80,000 for (we'll just round it down to 80,000 like I rounded Donkey's up to 54,000). Over 269,000 more for AJ.
