Well, I never thought he would fight again and that he was retired for good but apparently he will fight for the WBA-interim title against Steve Herelius according to boxrec. Why wouldn't the make the fight for the full champ status? And why aren't they stripping Guillermo Jones 'cause he's like not fighting for more than a year and a half... Where the f*** is he anyway (can't find anything about his whereabouts on the net), keeping the title in prison for so long...

nice, i was waiting for his comeback myself....met Firat in LA after the Vitali/Arreola fight; he seemed like a genuinely nice guy...said he would get back in the ring after he had recovered from a second injury

I've never really been sold on Arslan. Herelius isn't a world beater either but i think he could give Arslan a few problems and might even nick it if he doesn't tire (i don't know what Herelius' stanima is like but to the best of my knowledge he has never gone 12 rounds).

As for G.Jones i have no idea where he is. It is a shame as he is very talented.

Nice matchup for both fighters, I think it's more a test for Helenius if he really has wat it takes.

He'll win this one by SD.

To keep him more active, I heard his team already has his next fight lined up, for Nov 2013.

Arslan had a cycling accident and suffered some bad unjurys.

I´m glad he is back. Always liked him. He is limited but always comes to give his best and puts up a fight. He has the will and determination that many better fighters than him lack and thus is able to compete with them. He is old now but I guess he still has a few fights left. I´d like to see him fight Fragomeni.

Didn't know that :!:. thanks for the info :good.

Either way, I say he'll win this one by close decision. I've never really followed him too much, I don't really know anything about him.
