Firat Arslan is a 5'11.5 45 year old Cruiserweight with a 36-8-2 22 KO's 4 KO losses record. Born in Friedberg, Bavaria, Germany and fighting out of Suessen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Firat Arslan who's parents emigrated from Turkey to Deutschland starting his career way back in 1997. He's perhaps one of the more underrated Cruisers of the past decade. He lost a few early fights on points but he also managed to be one two fighters to hand the very talented Vadim Tokarev a blemish in the form of a draw on his record the other being Marco Huck, and was to date the first and only man to defeat current CW Champion Grigory Drozd by way of KO. He avenged an earlier loss to Suda by KO and he was also the second man to beat Brudov when he was decent the first being Virgil Hill and took his CW title at the advanced age of 37 and Firat also retired Virgil Hill for awhile anyway. Unfortunately after his series of good wins capped off by a win over Darnell Wilson he suffered two really bad setbacks back to back by being KO'd by Steve Herelius and a possibly doped up Guillermo Jones. But he rebounded very well he came roaring back with two inspired performances a draw with Alekseev and a loss to Huck, yet you could make an argument he won both of them. The first Huck match was very close, so close he got a rematch in which he was unfortunately KO'd in. Yet again he bounced back with an insired performance against Hernandez which rightfully should have been a draw and possibly a win had he done more in the 12th but alas it went to YPH by SD. He wants to make history by being the oldest Cruiserweight Champ in history, anybody up for Arslan-Drozd 2? He's exciting to watch always put on a show and deserves more attention than he receives. You can turn the subtitles on and over to English using the setings option, he's still well spoken for an 19 year pro.

There's no way he'd let Arslan expose one of his hypejobs, he's better off staying in Europe.. Better fights for him there anyways.

I don't know anything about him personality wise I've only really ever seen him when he's fighting. That said, I did briefly check out that last video of him CST posted and he didn't come across how I imagined he would, judging purely by appearance that is. He does seem like a nice guy. A very good and tough fighter too.

Didn't know he was from Bavaria either. I've never been there but I've long thought it looks like an amazingly beautiful place to live.

I love Bavaria, ever since I was a kid I had a donut with Bavarian cream in it and I loved the taste and the word Bavarian I found evocative. It spurred my imagination, also the Black Forest is in Bavaria and many of the Hammer films I watched as a kid were set there and Suspiria one of my favorite Italian horror movies is set in Freiburg which is in Bavaria. Add to that my fascination with castles and Ludwig II masterpiece of Neuschwanstein.

    Wrong. :deal

The black forest is in the west of Bavaria. Tell a guy from Freiburg, that he is a bavarian and he will hunt you with pitchfork and fire.

Yeah. Only americans can like bavaria. :deal

Everyone thinks, the germans are beer drinking idiots with leather pants because of bavaria. And the bavarians are still angry to be part of germany...
