Nice battle on the inside, I think Arslan is now winning, I think Alexseev won a couple more rounds then what is thought by u guys but no problem. Arslan landing harder shots.

    67-66 Arslan

    Round 8

Alexeev jabs into the guard of Arslan from outside, not pushing in as close now. Arslan tries to muscle through the jab, gloves pinned to his face, trying to reattain that close quarters. Alexeev is whipping him with lefts from outside as he rams his way through the jab. Better control of range by Alexeev. Long right jabs by Alexeev. Long flurry by Alexeev. Arslan is walked into a corner without Alexeev needing to physically push him. Alexeev is also leaning his upper body far ahead of his feet and giving Arslan a little shove. Right hook doubled up by Arslan. Jabs by Alexeev to drive him back. Arslan now comes forward, hooking at the body. Flurry by Alexeev. Shove by Alexeev.

    10-9 Alexeev

Alexeev is toast, Firat is predictable and he is winning. I am not sure what Alexeev's gameplan was supposed to be going into this one, Firat always boxing the same.

The commentators thought the 8th was Alexeev's, after having given him the last several.

I thought he ended a drought of Arslan rounds by clearly winning the 8th.

Not on the same page tonight at all. :conf

    6-2 Arslan.

Very frustrating to watch. Reckon it'll be 10-2 in the end.

    Round 9

Long right pitty-pat jabs by Alexeev, backing up and trying to preserve range. Arslan keeps coming forward, letting jabs slide off the sides of his guard. Body shots by Arslan. Stiffer right jabs by Alexeev, not quite piercing the guard but causing the seams to split a little. Arslan brushes Alexeev's hair with his right palm while fluttering his jab up top. Some jabs and uppercuts to the guard by Alexeev, falling in and giving up his height again. Big right hook by Arslan, clubbing Alexeev back. Alexeev bends his knees and tries a springy left uppercut - blocked. They push together and then shove apart. Terry O'Connor warns them to watch their heads coming together. Arslan is down, slip. No KD. Clubbing left by Arslan, just barely slipped by Alexeev as he turns his shoulder up and plunges his head down. Left uppercut inside by Arslan. Weak body shots by Alexeev, caught on the elbows.

    Round 10

Three uppercuts straight away by Arslan, pressing in close. Busy hooks and uppers by Arslan, stepping around Alexeev. A few pawing jabs coming back from Alexeev. The defenses of Alexeev are starting to thin, as Arslan is now landing his straight punches down the middle as well as his hooks and uppers to the body. Alexeev tries some of his earlier bobbing and weaving but looks weary and isn't hauling his cookies as fast. Big body slapping flurry by Arslan. Alexeev throws an uppercut and gets ducked. A few flush uppers by Arslan, and a looping left to the side of the head while stepping around the side. Alexeev snaps a left hand through the guard but can't build on the momentum. He pushes ahead into the shorter man, who flurries into his body. Uppercut and clubbing left by Arslan. Big right hook by Arslan, catching Alexeev high on the head and wobbling him!! Alexeev dips at the knees and tries a big right upper-hook, sending himself off balance. Hands low for Alexeev, stalking but tired.

    10-9 Arslan

    98-92 Arslan
