Great idea but sometimes as commentators they suck. How many times have you heard Foreman nuthugging a fighter who's loosing rounds? How many times has Lewis seems like he is watching some other fight on an opposite screen?

Hah. Never thought of this before. my first thoughts say good idea!!

But in the end I think your idea will also not solve the problem of controversy. When something is judges by a human it's always subjective so there will always be controversy.

The only reason to make it for example objective is by putting sensors on the fighters which count the times they get hit. But that indeed is nearly impossible. Compubox implies it is a computer to deceive people, however it is just humans pressing a button as well.

that's true, favortism is part of human nature...however, u will have a larger % of knowledge about the square ring from a boxer than a spectator whom never laced up gloves or done roadwork or went 12 hard 1'z.

i personally think the judges have done a tremendous job this year so far. I had Marquez winning, but i have to agree with ukprospect about the Marquez-Pacquiao fight, it was very close and could have gone either way, regardless of how much i thought Marquez was the better fighter through out the fight.
