Flynn was the first boxers, who was active in 25 consecutive calendar years (at least one pro fight per year).

But who is the last/most recent boxer to join the "25 consecutive years club"?

Can't say for certain who was last, but

I think Archie Moore and Joe Brown qualify.

Joe Brown boxed from 1941 to 1943, then missed 1944, probably in the military, but fought every year from 1945 to 1970.

Depending how you consider it, Sam Langford 1902-1926 could qualify. Those are 25 different years, but could be viewed as 24 years.

All 3 qualify... Langford with 25 years (I should have mentioned, that we're talking about calendar years - which I have now edited into my original post), Brown with 26, Moore with 29.

Brown is the most recent of those guys, as he became a member in 1969 - but he's not the last.

    Manny Pacquiao qualifies, I think? 1995 - 2019.

He absolutely does - but we're looking for someone, who was "inducted" into the club at an even later date than Pacquiao.

Another fighter who qualifies, but definitely not as the most recent,

    Jack Brittan (1904-1930)

27 years - so yes, another qualifier for sure!

Sam Soliman debuted in 1997 and last fought in 2022. He fought in every intervening calendar year, apart from 2020.

And if he hadn't skipped 2020, he would certainly have been the latest member of the club.

F#%^! Was certain I had it with Firat Arslan. Debut 1997, fought in 2022, was checking his record and he fought every year inbetween.....apart from 2009

Lol... yes, at first glance several fighters look like candidates - but on closer inspection, they often miss a year or two!

Cosme Riveria Yocupicio? He was "inducted" in July 2019, 6 months after Pacquiao.

Danny Williams was also "inducted" after Pacquiao, but before Yocupicio, in Feb 2019.

Remarkably, 2022 marked Williams 28th consecutive year of competing in a professional boxing bout.

Saoul Mamby fought every year from 1969-1994... and then made a comeback in 1998.
