Leonard Ellerbe was paramount to his success. This move is horrible by Floyd.

Leonard Ellerbe…a Strength and Conditioning..GTFOH. If Floyd can fight without Roger I'm almost 100% positive he can fight without Ellerbe. I don't doubt that he's been in other fighters camps but I highly doubt he was a Strength and Conditioning coach, maybe an adviser/manager/business associate.

Ellerbe was a personal trainer in the D.C. area when he hooked up with Mayweather.

Ellerbe was a personal trainer before he hooked up with Floyd. Ellerbe met Floyd through Floyds uncles. Ellerbe's job before was better paid at that time before he left for Vegas with Floyd. Basically he took a paycut to go and be with Floyd. He was a like a big brother to him essentially.

Don't particularly like ellerbe but out of all the hangers on he has in his gym. Ellerbe should be the last one to go. Guess only Floyd knows what his reasons are.

in a certain article Floyd lays some of the problem with Ellerbe on the two titles (147 and 154) up for grabs.

"For example, this time around when I went out and fought, my WBC and WBA titles in both weight classes were on the line and I didn’t approve of that at all. That’s something I didn’t approve of…There’s no way that I go beat these fighters for these titles and then without me saying anything, someone tells me I got four titles on the line at two different weight classes. When I beat that guy for just one belt, I had three belts and beat him for one belt, and the next fight, after he already loses to me, I come back and say, here, I’m gonna fight you for four belts in two different weight classes? Come on, man. It doesn’t make any sense; I don’t think so."

Although, I have no idea what the real cause of the beef is, I find this one funny because this is a huge problem being a yes man and dealing with a narcissistic, ego-driven person with limited self awareness. The yes man goes out and does something he thinks will feed said ego (two titles – no one ever does that. Only Floyd does that. TBE, etc) and because he is a yes man he really has no idea what the narcissist wants. The result is a falling out of favor as the narcissist will inevitably feel betrayed that his trusted yes man, who agrees on al things with him, could be so wrong on that one thing.

From this I glean two lessons – one for the yes man and one for the narcissist. 1) The yes man should never take initiative on any matter and just continue saying yes. 2) The narcissist should never hire a yes man to be CEO of his company.

Floyd letting Elle go would be like pacquiao leaving jinky.

the thing is both elle and jinky were riding their d!cks before they hit it big.

their relationships wasn't based on money.

Would you cry if Pacquiao gave him a job? :think

  14. Floyd needed Ellerbe to kiss his insecure ass for a number of years and he did a fantastic job. Being more secure now Floyd don’t need him. There are no hard feelings they have just grown apart according to TBE.. . .Yes men can be very useful sometimes and Ellerbe is the best. If anyone as insecure as Floyd should come along(very doubtful) Ellerbe will have a job. I see him hangin around the Broner camp hoping lightening strikes twice.

Floyd and Ellerbe appeared together at today's commission meeting. I would suspect he will still have some role within Floyd's business.
