First 10 seconds says it all...

I gotta think that based on the few times he did it...each time he'd back up...Floyd would follow and Vic would try to shoot a sneaky left...a couple time it landed flush where Floyd would "grin" after eating it.

Shane fought Floyd 12 rounds...Ortiz only 4...so there was a BIG gap in terms of rounds Ortiz had to land on Floyd vs Shane who had 3 times as many rounds.

Victor at this stage is about the same as the Gatti that Floyd beat....adn that Gatti was a few years removed from his prime. And Floyd beat him up accordingly. I doubt victor ends up having the kind of career Gatti had as Gatti was a better fight over all...more heart, skills and power...of course at a lower weight class.

Floyd landing 50% was expected! Ortiz is a young lion...inexperienced and tailor made for Floyd....ASIDE from teh south paw stance. Which shouldn't have been enough for Ortiz to have that kind of success with the left in my opinion. But at the end of the day Floyd got the win and he showed that he wants to give EXCITING fights...or at least I hope he sticks to this style. We'll see who he fights next which I hope it's Manny but highly doubt.

In 4 rounds this was the most excitment I've seen from Floyd since maybe the Zab fight or the Gatti fight.
