First 18 fights: Wlad, AJ and Wilder

Some of his fans are piling on and attacking Lomachenko for his next fight, despite the fact he's coming off wins against Walters and Sosa.... But are completely ok with Wilder and Stevenson facing mediocre voluntary after voluntary for years, then have the nerve to claim that other posters have an agenda and they don't! LOL.

 

I know, it's ridiculous, the inconsistency has to be agenda driven, even they must know how hypocritical they sound.

 

Wlad was moved slowly to an extent but he was also kept busy in a throw back way.

He had 25 fights in his first two years. I don't think anybody is fighting that frequently these days.

 

We get it. We all know Wilder kinda sucks and Joshua just beat a HOF'er. We get it. We know.

 

Evidently some people don't as evidenced by Dinovelvets posts, as well as a couple of other clowns around here....

 

You must be reading a whole lot of posts from the same couple people in threads I never visit. Because I would say literally nearly no one on this site is unrealistic about Wilder in a positive way. Literally, dino and what, 1 or 2 of his alts? Quit giving credence to them.

 

This is a boxing forum, outspoken people who spew drivel will be called out on it, as they should be.

 

Call me when Wilder stops dining out on a win over a fat Haitian & actually fights a HW who's a threat!

Both Joshua and Wilder had short amateur careers (43 fights VS 35). Yet Joshua didn't fight bums for all of his first 18 fights...

 

Deborah Wilder's best win has been matched by Demetrice King! KO Stiverne in 4! Who I hear you cry? A guy who has more losses than wins.

That's good work Lewis, but it was missing something. The ages they were at the time. For a fair comparison you need to include their ages and Wlad was about five years younger than Joshua while Wilder was almost 2 years younger. It's not fair to compare guys who stayed in the amateur ranks until their thirties to the guys who went pro in their teens. Comparing a guy like Usyk to Holyfield would be foolish. Personally, I find the guys who got titles in their teens and early twenties the most impressive no matter how many fights it took them to get there.

Actually, with Chris Byrd on there being equal to or better than Stiverne they are about the same. The most notable difference is that Klitschko was 26 and Wilder is 31 by that point.
