What do you guys do at the start of a bout personally i start with lots of feints whilst working out my opponents style then my main priority is to start landing my jab and taking any shots my opponent offers me, also i look to land to the body early.

i usually spend the first half of the round going all out and spend the second round running away or clinching because i am too tired to hit anymore

30 seconds is a long time. I spend the first 10 seconds moving and finding my distance. Then's its jab time.
