King Arthur arguably loses the 1st 4 rounds against a lackadaisical, gunshy, does everything well nothing great, lateral only moving, possibly shot Jermain Taylor.

How is he gonna beat a taller, rangier, faster, unorthodox fighter like Andre Dirrell?

Pray for a knockout? Against a guy who isnt afraid to not engage?

so basically you're saying that if Dirrell beats Abraham its not even such a good win, since Abraham isn't really good anyways.

:good If Dirrell loses a round it should be seen as failure. Abraham would lose to at least four of the fighters on Dirrell's resume.

This was my favourite part. Only the truly brave have the courage to run away when others might try to fight.

i personaly think that if the king is gunna win this 1... he needs to up his work rate cause if he lands... it's night night for the matrix

otherwise, he'll just look like a ***** like he did against froch

No. I've maintained that Abraham has excellent defense and explosive power. Its virtually impossible to go to his body and if you try to shoot straight punches he picks them off. And every punch he throws has a potential to hurt you. However...

Its a stylistic mismatch though. Up until now Abraham has fought guys who basically play his game. He wants to you to paw at him with that jab, he wants you to come directly at him.

Dirrell wont play his game. He'll box and move, throw punches from different angles, and when Abraham tries to still rounds 50 seconds to go in a round, Dirrell wont be there.

Pretty much what people said to me before the Froch vs Dirrell and Kessler vs Ward fight.

But boxers with speed will 90% of the time come out on top over sluggers.

    Oh FFS.

Abraham would lose the first four rounds to Reggie Strickland.

Then knock him out with his first punch in the 5th.

You taking Abraham? Im trying to get you and JAck to admit your picks for Abraham, so that I feel more at ease with Dirrell winning.

Just tell me Abraham is going to walk through and KO Dirrell. It will pretty much remove any doubt from me.

Abraham is a better boxer than Dirrell though. Handspeed does not equal skills.

Reggie Strickland is not Andre Dirrell nor is a gunshy Taylor who had lost 3 of his last 4 fights, 2 by KO.

Taylor was a much better fighter than Dirrell will ever be, for all his faults.

Abraham is not a better boxer then Dirrell. Abraham picks off punches on his guard then slugs away. His punches arent compact, they arent crisp, they are wide looping shots merely aimed at doing damage.

Dirrell can throw from different angles, going backwards, forwards, sideways, and he has natural instincts when it comes to defense. Give him 2 inches and he'll dodge your punches.
