Is this the worst bout in history? Do any fans think they could beat these two? lol

Are you re*arded. The film quality likely makes the fighters look worse then if you saw it in person live.

I don`t like the word ******, the footage standard didn`t effect the way the guys are standing while they are punching, name me in one way how they are boxing correctly, they look like a pair of toddlers fighting.

Plus training techniques, punch techniques, defensive techniques have evolved, therefore it is unfair to judge these fighters against later standards, just it is unfair to judge historical actors against today's standards of ethical behavior.

    Depends on size

But I reckon they wouldn't land much clean on me if they're Welterweight ish

Courtney was a joke who bullshitted his way into the "fight", Corbett played with him and knocked him down on cue. Reznik posted some cleaned up footage of Corbett, I'd be surprised if anyone thinks they could beat him after seeing it.

It's also not the first filmed boxing fight, and was also a totally contrived set up to allow for filming.

These were exhibitions, theatrical-like. They changed their style from how they'd fight in a real bout, and this was in a smaller ring and with "pillow" gloves. There's a video of George Dixon from 1906 in an exhibition, you'd never think he was an ATG based on how he looked in that one.

It wasn't a real fight and Corbett looked much different when he fought against Fitzsimmons in real fight. People who want to believe that fighters sucked 120 years ago will still use it as an example though.

I'd hope so with technique like that I'd back the Bear that fought Gus Waldorf to win

Much better than the crappy fighters in the vid I posted but the punching technique is still awful.
