    Mine was watching Larry Holmes on World of Sport, in a delayed re run of a fight, get up off the floor and win, Ive no idea who it was against .. any help appreciated on the opponent

    But that was the very first thing I remember as a boxing fan.

    Watching the Tyson fights in the late 80's on Saturday mornings or Sunday. I may be completely wrong but at least I think they replayed them the following morning.

    Im sure it was Wide World of Sport with Dickie Davis or something like that.

    Although it was more mid eighties wasnt it?

    It used to seem like it was nearly every weekend!

    Walking to school saying Tyson was my favourite boxer after him beating Bruno in their 2nd fight.

    Be interesting to see how many people's first Boxing memories involve Tyson.
