This will be my first boxing PPV and I was just wondering if someone can school me on what to look for on the undercard?

I've seen Kelly Pavlik fight, but don't know the guy he's fighting. Is this a gimme or should it be a competitive fight?

Any other fights with intrigue on this card?

Also, the fight against Lopez is a gimme as far as I can see and I expect Pavlik to return in spectacular fashion.

Just crack a beer, sit back and enjoy the show. The undercard should be reasonably entertaining.

Its possible the best fight on this card is the Arce fight, yet to be determined however, looks like it on paper to me. Its a pretty decent card all around.

Also on a big PPV like this, you get to see all kinds of behind the scenes **** sometimes. Cool interviews, statistics and break downs by all kinds of "experts".

    Usually good ****.

    Welcome to the family. :good

Mike Alvarado-Ray Narh could potentially be a decent-good fight. Both have a lot to gain and a lot to lose. So, both fighters are hungry and both need to win and win impressive in order to make a name for themselves. So, I would be a bit surprised if it isn't somewhat entertaining. I don't think too highly of either fighter, as neither of them have any real scalps on their resumes, but still they are around the same level and both are very hungry to make a name for themselves as this is the first and could be their last big opportunity.

Pavlik is back, Lopez is a sloppy fighter, but he is undefeated for a reason. He's decent enough. He doesn't have any real journeyman or contender scalps, but still you always have to fear somebody that is undefeated. Lopez could surprise people and upset Pavlik as that has happened quite a bit lately. I'm not expecting that, but still def could happen as we don't know how good Pavlik still is.

Vazquez-Arce, P.R.-Mexico. Nuff said. Greatest rivalry in all of sports. Arce is always exciting, he's a bit old, Vazquez is a very solid champ that continues to improve. Should be a very good fight that will probably be the fight of the night.
