Clearly a British Heavyweight title being on BBC is a big plus.

It will be interesting to see how manage only 4 dates a year.

If pitched at a right level this could be very good. I fear the budget could lead to lots of Adam Azim vs a 100/1 shot type fights.

Going Back to the old Boxxer tournaments would be a good move 2 times a year

Good news for boxing fans and great exposure for anyone fighting on terrestrial TV.

A cacophony of noise as the bell sounds for the first stanza of this British HW title fight

Ronald MacIntosh if on commentary will certainly appeal to the usual BBC2 audience on a Saturday night ;)

At approximately the same time Fabio squares off with Joe Parker, then Fundora - Thurman a few hours later.
Meanwhile next to nothing last, and this weekend.

Doubt he’ll fight on there tbh. These days you can be with a promoter but not fight on their shows. Anthony Joshua’s last 3 fights haven’t been on Matchroom shows, Katie Taylor’s last 2 haven’t etc.
