showed up to my new gym to work out for the first time its mostly an MMA/karate gym but they have boxing classes. the boxing class is one hour longand it consists of warm up exersises, shadowboxing(with the coach going through the class picking students and random and doing padwork, then pairing off into teams to do work on the bags. in the other room there is a cage. I dont know if they have full contact sparring or not, guess Ill find that out soon enough. since I dont have a fight date set it was harder to stay motivated to self train and I think hitting this gym a couple of times a week will help me to train at home better too I didnt see any two end or slip bags or a weave rope but they do have a speed bag and a medicine ball and the coach pushes you hard its about a 2 mile walk form the house. right now Im drenched in sweat and my lungs feel like they are on fire but I feel good
I have quit 5 times in the past month and a half the longest time was for 4 and a half days I am at about 36 hours Kool-free right now
I smoked on and off through my teens (well, from 17 to 20) Stop for 1 week and then it is easy save from the odd craving. You will feel wonderful.
the thing about cigarette smoking, young gun, is that its rarely if ever done in moderation when I boxed before I got away with it because I had been in prison 5 years and you cant smoke there, but even with me trying to keep it to a minimum and quit every few days, I can still feel the cumulative effects of smoking for the past 6 years. and its not as bad as you would think, because I live in the largest city in the US with no form of public transport, so I do an insane amount of walking, but the effect is there nonetheless. its a cumulative thing, gun.............it doesnt catch up with you in a month or a year but it WILL catch up with you
