Here what I got so far

    1. Harry Greb
    2. Ray Robinson
    3. Sam Langford
    4. Henry Armstrong
    5. Charley Burley
    6. Bob Fitzsimmons
    7. Roberto Duran
    8. Mickey Walker
    9. Roy Jones
    10.Manny Pacquiao

But the I also got Ez Charles, Willie Pep, Pernell Whitaker, Benny Leonard, Joe Gans and JC Chavez in mind too??:admin:huh:huh would you shoehorn any of them in (or anyone else for that matter) - I'm in a mess with this - more comfortable with doing my heavyweight lists but this one has thrown me??

Jones and Pacqiuao should be about 20 spots lower at least IMO.

Benny Leonard, Barney Ross, Luis Manuel Rodriguez...fit them in.

Walker, Pac, jones and burley stand out to me straight away.

I can't conceive a top ten list without ali, louis or charles.

I'm beginning to accept pep might not belong but those 3 do. Ali is the greatest hw in history (even if I do think he lost every fight after the thriller). Louis is one me the longest reigning champs in history (even just counting meaningful years) and charles has beaten genuine great fighters from mw-hw. I'm not talking great for the era but great in terms of all time.

Williams, Rodriguez, Hagler, Pac, Burley, Walker and Fitzsimmons say no to all them. Les Darcy should be on the edge of the top 10. Room should be found for Charles and Pep and perhaps Chavez also.

I'm thinkin Ez Charles has got to be there and high too - there's a lot of amazing fighters - I am a bit biased towards Roy Jones being in there an PAC - I think PAC is a little under rated by people who just don't like him personally or are just being over critical and I just think at his very very best Jones was one of the very best I've ever seen - who do you guys think were some I the guys who pulled off something unbeleivable in terms of crossing weights or jumping weights or whatever - Mickey Walker astounds me just for a welterweight to end up holding a heavyweight champ to a draw just beggars belief

Problem for me there is that I don't consider Ali the greatest heavyweight ever? And my no.1 heavyweight probably holds more sway in a P4P sense too being one of the smallest heavyweight champs ever
