I noticed these ratings changed, with guys like Merhy and Kossobutskiy dropping out, I am assuming because they thought twice. I think this thing is already a disaster.

If Usyk wins a HW title or comes close to it he's going to make this joke of a division look so, so bad and expose it for what it is - For small HW's who aren't good enough to compete against the real competitors also love or hate him Wilder was a force at HW and he could easily make Bridgerweight.

 

More mediocrity and **** being packaged as excellence so they can call them world title fights.

 

This division is needed. I’ve said it for years, why is there so much hate for it? Every weight division from light welter up goes up in 7lbs. I don’t get the logic for the 20 odd pound or so jump from light Heavy to Cruiser. I’d also hate to be one of them who are slightly too big to make 14 stone 4 having to face the 6 foot 8 18-19 stoners.

There’s more need for these than there is for so many around fly and bantam etc. Far more fellas are 6 foot to 6 foot 4 and around 13-15 stone than are 7-8 stone odd. Ten fights and you’re a world champ at fly weight the pool is so shallow.

As someone mentioned it works fine in the amateurs.
