First fight you can remember seeing properly.

I think Shavers-Ali might have been the first one i actually sat through, but i also remember family watching Danny Lopez,Duran,Chacon,Cuevas and other Ali fights before that. Remember my dad being disgusted about Jimmy Young getting robbed against ALI.

 

Holmes v Spink sometime in the 80s, can't remember which year exactly. I might've just hit my early teens or just before.

 

Frazier-Chuvalo, '67, I turned 10 that summer. Watching with my Dad. Good times.

I really don't know, it was very likely a Tyson fight though. Tyson was big in our house when i was a youngster.

First fight i remember live was Robinson-Gavilan.

Jesus SG, i had it in my head you were about 21 or something. Think its because of the steven gerrard thing maybe.
1st fight that i can clearly remember watching was Ali-Spinks2. It was on ITV around 8pm and was probably recorded earlier. It was the only fight i seen of Ali, i didnt see the Holmes or Berbick fight til recently and even then i found it hard to watch

First fight I remember actively watching was Alexis Arguello vs Alfredo Escalera I. I have vague memories of the finish of Ali vs Wepner, too.

 

Douglas-Tyson. I was an 80s kid, so of course there was a lot of talk about Tyson, Chavez, etc, but I don't remember watching any of the fights prior to the Tokyo bout.
