Bruno vs Carl Williams. My grandad said ''Lennox Lewis would kill these two at the same time'' - that was the start of my interest in how Lewis fared. I do remember the mass furore about Tyson getting sent down, mainly because there was a kid in the year below us called Tyson... who even at 5 years old was already hard as ****.
im sure there were a couple beforehand that i may have half watched with my dad on itv that i vaguely remember but couldnt tell you who was fighting, but the first one that grabbed my attention and got me into boxing was Carl Froch-Jean Pascal, after that i decided to start watching boxing as i found that more exciting that a 0-0 draw between two football teams, and its dominated my life ever since hah
I honestly can't remember... I never had Sky till i was like 7, So i'd say it would of been a ITV show probably Eubank because i just loved the simply the best music and his style.
As a nipper i watched McGuigan vs Pedroza in a caravan in Henley-on-Thames with the family. The atmosphere in the caravan was electric!
I remember watching Alan Minter win his world title back in 1980, although I may well have seen Ali fight live before then.
