Watched a lot of Ali in the 60`s but they were delayed broadcasts.Think it was probably John H Stracey v Hedgemon Lewis in 1976

 

With a shred of consciousness probably Haye-Chisora. Definitely saw a lot of Klitschko's fights when I was too young to care or remember, as my father was a huge boxing fan.

My first fight watched with the intent was Canelo-BJS. Had a bit of Renaissance after a long period of hating the sport because of how much it was on TV, and how many stories about the 70's and 90's I listened to back when I probably still believed in Santa.

 

First live fight I recall was Tyson/Bruno 1. But I didn't watch it, I set my alarm to wake up and listen to it on the radio. I just remember hearing all the hype about this fight and wanting to know if the Brit could beat the American.

I don't recall what my first live fight I actually watched on TV was. First one I can recall is Benn vs Piper.

 

A mexican national championship. I dont remember the weight, around lightweight, I guess, but I dont know.

I was just a kid, 7 yo maybe.

I remember one of the contenders was really thin and had huge curly hair who made his head look like a big ball. I've looked for that fighter many times, I never succeeded. I dont know who he is.

 

I don't remember the names of the boxers, but they were the ones George Foreman fought in the 1968 Olympics before he won the Gold Medal when I was 3 years old. I followed Big George's career all the way from the start! =D

 

Can't remember the 1st fight I saw live on TV, But the 1st fight I attended was Leonard vs Duran 1 , June 20th 1980 at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal I was 17 years old

Sanders vs. Wladimir, I was 12 years old at the time and I considered Wladimir invincible, I watched the fight together with my whole family and my late grandfather commented on Sanders' thin legs and said that Sanders will beat Wladimir because he will be too fast and I laughed at that and underestimated Sanders , the fight took place in the ZAG Arena in Hannover and the German ZDF broadcast that fight, I had satellite so I could watch that fight for free...

 

First fight I watched live on tv could have been audley Harrison v Danny Williams. Was round about that Harrison, Williams, Skelton, spott era.

First fight I went to was Burns v Mitchell.

 

First professional fight live in person was Roy Jones vs Antonio Tarver I, first fight on TV I don’t remember.
