Numbers 2 and 3 are speculation.

Wait how can a guy who looks to be in perfect shape throw out his back? Is his steroid use finally taking its toll?

From Adam Booth's interview in The Telegraph.
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ot...ance-may-have-come-and-gone-says-trainer.html

Booth revealed that Haye's injury built up over a period of time.

He said: "There are some injuries that happen in an instant, like a broken leg. And there are other things that are conditioned, that are underlying and don't really show too many problematic symptoms. It hadn't stopped him doing his training, it's just he was complaining of having a back ache sometimes.

"A couple of days ago the symptoms were more of a concern. He couldn't do certain sessions that were important and so we sent him off to have it scanned and the scan showed a condition that basically needs some aggressive physiotherapy."

On a media day with Haye two weeks ago, he did nothing more the lightest of light work-outs in front of the British press, looking stiff in his movements.

Booth admitted that Haye was "gutted" at having to pull out of the fight, but the boxer's health and well being had to come first. "My concern is doing the job that's right," Booth added. "I've got to get David back, get him treated, get him back in the gym and get him into shape."

Not that facts matters to any of the useless twats posting about this anyway. :patsch :-(

If Haye has had a nagging problem for so long, why has he never mentioned it before? If he was stiff in his movements a few weeks ago, why didn't we hear anything about it? It sounds more to me like his trainer has picked a classic diagnosis which is extremely difficult to prove due to the nature of soft tissue and is really only trying to buy time for Haye. If I were Wladimir I would say yes, you can have your 21 days, but my doctors have to examine you and you have to also submit current urine and blood samples for testing.
