First major fight you watched entirely while being aware of it being a big fight?

    I remember being aware of the FotC. I recall my dad going to a theater to watch it but I didn’t get to go.

    The first one I remember watching was Ali-Spinks I but there may have been something earlier that will pop in my mind as I ponder this.

    It is threads like these that I particularly miss djanders, RIP, posting here. Would have loved to know his answer to the question posed in the thread title.

    That's awesome. I like that. It's up there with Tokyo Douglas and Sugar Valuev. Joe Hanson.

    He looked like a Joe Hanson.

    Hagler/Leonard. I was 9 years old, and that fight is why Marvin Hagler is my favorite fighter in history. Something imprinted on me. I had seen Tyson fight etc.......but Hagler Leonard for some reason stuck with me.
