It sucked in a way because I found out i was fighting five minutes before the actual match (we didn't have my book). But yeah. I went all three rounds, Gave him a standing eight. I won the last round but lost the first two. A couple people came up to me and told me they thought I won the last two but the judges scored it how they scored it.

Anyways it was a great fight and an entertaining fight. And cant wait for my next one.

Congrats on getting it out of the way and good that you had fun, shame you lost but that's life. A loser is not someone who loses, but someone who quits after his loss :good

Fought as well today, and same here. Had a difficult to figure out opponent, and took too long figuring him out. Lost round one (1-3), lost round two (3-7), then came back in the third but not enough (6-8 ). Wasn't in trouble at any moment but my style isn't very score friendly.

Congrads! The way I look at it is as long as you had fun and came out a better boxer then it was a win!

Thats the attitude i'll try to keep anyways.

I was fighting last night. Man, we were sitting about for 3 hours after a 2 hour drive, I was knackered by the time we got to the fight, lost by decision, 2 points in it. Well done getting past the first one done!

Is it just me or is it like...90% of what you learn during sparring goes RIGHT out the window?

It depends, sometimes you pick things up in sparring which only work against your partner, in that case it goes out of the window.
