i finally started sparring. first off i just want to say i got rocked. im 145 he was 147, but im 6 ft1 nad he was prolly like 5 ft 7 or 8. he would get inside and pound my liver area. i didnt know what to do lol. another sidenot. i blocked 0 shots and dodged 0. i took everyshot he threw to my head lol. atleast i know i can take a punch. but i did do well in bursts. becuse i hit much harder then him once i hit him he would get rocked back and i would explode, but then i would get tired and he would beat the **** out of me.
today i sparred him again and did better i got him really rocked from hed shots. but again i blocked 0 shots. also i did gas, but i went out hrd the end of the fight. also i clinch way to much. i clicnhed everytime he got inside so i need to fix that. also i got hit int he body so hard right now i feel like i need to shti real bad but i cant. any tips?

 Yes, fight a decent amateur and see how much the gay helmet helps you.

if you're getting hit so much, try staying on the balls of your feet and MOVING your head when you see him throwing a punch

I don't know what's more gay, what you just said, or the fact that you called it a helmet. :-(

Everyone usually sucks when they first start out sparring... You'll eventually know that to do somewhat well you have to move more than anything else you can do. And remember that sparring is just sparring, no need to go out and try to kill each other. It's for learning.

You can't rush these things - just take a good book in with you and it'll happen eventually

You were wearing protection as well, no? Without it he would have beaten you up even worse.

Anyway, my young hypocrite friend, you should do defensive drills. Block, duck, parry, slip, etc. Learn the sweet science.

Keep your guard up the whole time. that'll block probably a third of the punches coming at you right there.

Sounds like you got gassed alot, focus on some stamina drills. You really can't be overconditioned.
