I was bored and some guy from work wanted to "spar" I was trying to teach him the basics and after that we did some "sparring" to see what he had but it was the first time I put the gloves on years so I felt very rusty/akward. I noticed my foot work wasnt that good and punches didnt feel very crisp compared to before. I was going pretty slow/soft on him because I wanted to see what he had but still I would apreciate if you guys could point out some of the mistakes we were both doing. I am the shorter guy.

Get thee to a boxing ring. If one of you trips or gets caught by a shot you have a really good chance of cracking your skull on the ground or the corner of one of those nice crates.

    Other than that. More rounds.

You seem a good , natural counter puncher mate.

Both seemed a little flat footed, back heel needs to be off the floor. Also you over-reached a few times, with your head coming over your front foot and your back foot coming off the floor.

Looks fun! I would suggest throwing straight rights because from the video it appears that you were throwing an in-between straight right and a hook which left you way open for countering that side of your body. you also hit with your palms and not your knuckles with those punches. because he was much taller, you were reaching too much which keeps you off balance. you gotta step in with those punces...fight in close. more head movement also. he flicked many jabs at you in which you were caught. stay on your toes to be more active. However, I thought it was awsome for not being ring active for years. Once you know how to fight you never lose it. just gotta knock off some of the rust

I figured you were somewhere difficult. Hope you get something sorted as you look like your enjoying it and no doubt it can let off a bit of stress.

Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt over something silly is all.

    :thumbsup
