Don't forget about Pavlik...he said the same thing about Pavlik's chances...lol!!

6 months everyone on this forum was posting the idea that Calzaghe was ducking Kelly...we all can see how ridiculous that idea is now.

    who cares?Fisher always picks bad.
Anyway I'd favor Calzaghe to beat both but you never know.

johnson was outhustled and beaten upon by hopkins
    outstrengthed by sosa
    outslicked by kiwanaku
was pulling his hair out v ottke
    outspeeded by vanderpool
lost to a box /puncher in branco
    lost a war v sheika
    harmon
    gonzalez
    judah
    woods hurt an exhausted johnson
    outslicked by tarver
    beat by dawson.

so johnson has found brawlers/slicksters/defensive minded /offensive minded /taller/shorter/poder puff and big hiiters/ as fighters who have beaten drawn and given him problems with in the past

on the plus side he beat jones/woods/tarver/

2 tall stand up , no head movement fighters and a 1 off roy jones.

    he is what he is
a vetran/tough/have gloves will travel fighter who will give it all but sometimes comes up short.

Glenn Johnson doesn't beat JC. He gives him hell but JC pulls it out.

Chad Dawson beats JC if they ever fight.

    Here's another Fischer pick:

Doug Fischer, MaxBoxing.com, (Margarito): “Margarito will win by unanimous decision or late stoppage. Williams is a good young fighter, but he simply is not ready for Margarito at this stage of his development.”

    Actual Winner: Paul Williams

I believe Doug was also wrong about Cotto-Margarito.

Doug's a great guy, and wrong as he could be about Calzaghe-Dawson. That's ok, no one bats 1.000. I am kind of surprised Doug can't see the reality of how this fight would play out, but then again I was stunned anyone couldn't see how Cotto-Margarito would go as well. Maybe Doug is anti-Calzaghe (sounds like it) or pro-Dawson and that is blinding his judgment. Not sure.

I cant see Johnson taking 2 rounds from Calzaghe, there is nothing he does which troubles Calzaghe style wise, absolutely nothing.

As for Fisher, yeah he's an idiot.

I'm sorry, Glen Johnson is about as far off from being an even fight for Calzaghe as any top name you could come up with. Calzaghe would shred him and outside of the obligatory puncher's chance, I can't see Glen winning- he doesn't move well enough, doesn't throw fast enough, and doesn't have enough versatility to his game. His two biggest strengths are his conditioning and chin, which would be negated by Calzaghe's own conditioning and the fact Joe doesn't press for knockouts. It's got Calzaghe wide UD written all over it.

Dawson-Calzaghe would be a closer fight, but I still wouldn't make Chad the favorite. I'd love to see this fight happen even if it is a little soon for Dawson.

    Wrong. Nope.

Fischer picked Calzaghe. Kim picked Jones. And Fischer was surprised when he heard Kim picked Jones.

I don't disagre, PFV.. But who is never wrong though? He's right alot of the time as well - BTW, he did pick Calzaghe to win this fight, which he did.
