if i had to go with one it would be fisher but he seemed to run out of puff after a few rounds which isn't very promising and Allen I thought ended up nicking it.

Can't stand Dave Allen so would rather Fisher won but I couldn't care less about it really

Quite looking forward to this re-match.

Apparently Dave’s already in decent shape (not that he looks it) so he’s got 9 full weeks to get to a stage where he can last the distance. If he manages to do this, and completes every single training session and gets himself into a shape that’s actually a pro-athlete then I think the only outcome is an Allen stoppage.

It’s interesting for Fisher as he’s either only going to sink or swim here. He looks/sounds rattled already, I think that confidence and belief has taken a massive hit. But we’ll see whether he can go any further or not, if he doesn’t look a million dollars in the re-match then he’s done for. Don’t think realistically there would be any other level for him domestic or otherwise.

It looks like he’s off to Vegas to train? Raised an eyebrow that as, personally if I was advising him it would be to stay in East London, get down the gym, and lower your profile for a few weeks (including quietening down that father of his too in relation to boxing). That said it might pay off, and he might look great, and it will all be worth it.

Fisher will win on points, he will pace himself better and ensure he's conditioned for a 10 round fight.

Nice domestic fight, will probably get tickets for it. Hopefully undercard has some even fights.

I don't think lightning will strike twice though, unfortunately for Allen. I'm going for a Fisher KO.

    I think Allen will win.

If Fisher can't blast him out in 4 rounds I don't see him getting it

Think this is a really decent fight to be honest no idea who wins as the first was close. If Allen throws more than 3 punches per round then I say he takes it. Don’t let fisher win all the early rounds again.

Fishers clear issue is stamina, you can’t simply train that bit harder and be able to fight the distance. Boxing the distance is through experience. He showed great heart last time out, hurt and exhausted to see the final bell. Bosh

Fisher has to try and avoid getting involved in a fight and has to try and keep control of the fight behind the jab.

Its ultimately going to come down to how much he learned from the first fight and if can stop Dave Allen - who we should expect to be fitter than the first fight - from basically walking him down

I said at the time that he was throwing too many punches and that he was going to hit a crisis because he was going to gas out, which ended up being an understatement because it was a fight long crisis, because he lost every round after the knockdown IMO.

He needs to gain Allen’s respect and keep the volume at a minimum, Allen doesn’t force the action unless his man is hurt, he always stands there and doesn’t let his hands go, and Fisher needs to take advantage of that.

In the last fight Fisher could’ve gotten away with throwing a lot less early on and he still would’ve won the rounds and maybe not gassed.

Allen himself could even make some adjustments, he should constantly back Fisher up early on, keep that offensive jab in his face to disrupt the rhythm and force Fisher to work more than he wants to, instead of just relying on Fisher throwing too much then gassing again.

    Fisher didn't really gas though

Got hurt and couldn't really recover

Just jab Allen to death and it's a win this time
He ain't imo gonna stop him

I'm surprised Fisher took this straight away tbh I thought he'd fight a polish taxi driver first as a warm up fight and let Allen risk going out of shape again and catch him at a low point.
If Allen is as fit as he can be he wins for me Fisher ain't stopping him you need to have World level power to put a dent in Allen and I don't think Fisher does.

    Fisher points in this one.

He got bashed up and lost the first fight.

This second fight is expected to clean up his record with a redemption win so he can make more bosh money.

Allen’s level drops off for this one as well. He isn’t ever able to put two performances together in a row, so he dials a performance in.

Fisher to either win over the distance or by Allen retiring in his corner.
