Over 10 rounds, I favour Fisher to fight very tentatively and stroll to a points win; should he decide to mix it up, he will undoubtedly get exposed again, as Allen has 10 weeks of prep this time.

Personally, I think Fisher found his level in the last fight. A genuine world-class fighter would dismantle Allen, especially an out-of-shape Davel Allen, who was only at 60 %, according to Moore.

Either way, it should be an exciting domestic-level fight, and the winner should hopefully book a big fight; I'm sure the Blue Orchid will be lock stocked with orders in the upcoming weeks.

I could see it going that was as well especially since Allen's been getting more money in. He's a slob with no discipline. Seems a bit self-handicapping since he can always say he's bloody good when he trains and stuff like that. It's not really true though as he was pish when he was fit also

Yeah no matter how fit you are, defending with your head constantly and trying to set up your overhand right whilst not really having any punch output inbetween is never gonna end well for you.

Either way it’s bad news for Fisher I’m afraid in my opinion. If he wins here, he then gets badly beaten or knocked out when he steps up again, as if part timer Allen was much of a step up anyway, he just isn’t suited to heavyweight boxing. This game is unforgiving, he should change careers and use his degree. He’s clearly a nice guy and family means a great deal to him, we don’t want to see him get hurt.

The trouble with Bosh is Allen can take his power and that's all he has. So will be a close fight again I reckon. I had Allen winning the first one.

Interesting fight if one devoid of much skill.

Fisher can fill out the copperbox, why would he walk away from that? Doubt we see him step up above this level. He will be carefully matched domestically then maybe try a past it ex world title challeger

Fisher was winning the rounds fairly comfortably until he switched off during a clinch and got caught, if he just sticks to his jab and is ultra cautious, Allen will probably just go into sparring partner mode and not throw enough to win. Allen doesn’t like getting hit since price nearly damaged him

If he doesn’t step up much above the level he’s at now then what’s his end game going to be? Before his life and death with Allen (yes Dave Allen ffs), his promoter was talking about putting him in with Itauma this year. That is suicide, even a damaged Frazer Clarke absolutely ruins and hurts him. Ticket seller or no ticket seller where’s he going to go? He is so limited I feel for the bloke, he barely got past a part time boxer who has never been in proper condition, was in retirement pretty much and has been slurring his speech for years.

Agree with this, but Fisher doesn’t have Price like power and he never came close to hurting Allen in December. Fair play they have got us discussing it, because all this is, is fight between 2 very low level heavyweights. Let’s not forget Dave Allen has been laughed at and ridiculed on this forum for years and now Fisher has made him seem like a dangerous proposition and a live opponent after sharing the ring with him for half an hour.

It's a fair point but I think they can squeeze another 18 months to 2 years out of the bosh army if they stay at the copperbox. Then I guess they will try and cash him out with his padded record.

Itauma would splatter him inside a couple of rounds so I doubt they make that fight.

Sounds about right mate and yes they should leave him and anyone at his level well alone.

He'll retire a millionaire, not everyone has to head to world level
Some aren't meant to be there

We're friends with the family but everyone is realistic about where he is and where he can possibly go (except Hearn as he is dying for a ticket seller in bigger venues)
Not point in walking away when he can fight domestically and be set for life

100% agree. It could be argued that he requires a trilogy with Allen to achieve financial success, given that the British Rankings on BoxRec show that Fisher consistently loses to those above him.

Additionally, despite his recent loss, I believe Frazer Clarke would easily handle Fisher and give him a boxing lesson.

I also don't buy the image; I think it's a carefully curated gimmick to sell tickets. But Jnr. deserves credit for taking the rematch. If he uses his size advantage, he could just keep Allen at the end of his jab. As we saw with Price, Dave gets disheartened quickly and has small arms.

But as you say, I don't see much beyond Allen, and I rate David Price a level or two above anything Fisher has currently produced.

I actually think Dave Allen gets way more credit for his ability than he should, I don’t think people actually realise how useless he is. Before the first fight the amount of people saying ‘if Allen was in his prime’ I was like what prime? He was a punchbag even at his best
