Derrick Jefferson, Gerald Nobles, Ray Austin, Tony Thompson and other good fighters fought in this tournament on November 2002 but I see nothing posted on any of their records. Why would this be?
I remember that tournament. Mo Bettah was also in and he won the price when he beat Thompson in the final. I´m pretty sure that boxrec once had the results in their stats, but actually they do not. Maybe because it were only 3-rounders ?
I agree, Boxrec had every fighter file the record of every fight in that tournament for at least a year and i did in fact have a small issue with that because of the time periods between each event.. I spoke to Maurice Harris and he was quite angry , because he did not get anywhere near the amount of cash he was promised. The photo taken after the final had Mo and the Tournament sponsors posing with a breifcase full of cash... but when actually counted , Mo told me there were tens of thousands missing from the promised purse..
