I just think the layoff will beat Alves here , i mean i could be wrong but if MMA has proved us one thing its a layoff does nobody any good at all , or very rarely anyway , i think Alves is getting Fitch at his best and he has been out too long to win this fight . I will go on record and say that i beleive Alves @100 % KO's Fitch but i just dont know ....................... Thougts ??? ..................
Very few guys come back off lay offs like his and win especially against top opponents. A year ago I'd go with Thiago but now I see Fitch winning in the same way he always does.
The layoff IMO is a non factor. If Thiago was on his ass the entire time then yes but he wasnt. Remember he went through the entire camp for Fitch for the March fight but it was canceled about 4-5 days before the event. Obviously hes been in the gym so the only thing is he just hasnt been in the Cage in almost a year. That said this isnt some guy whos had 4-5 fights Alves has had like a dozen UFC fights and trains at ATT with like 2 dozen UFC fighters. Trust me he will be fine.
