    Arbitrarily, near as I can tell. If they were going for descending order of quality they failed, miserably. As usual. My point was that it adds insult to injury to have the inferior-in-quality fight that isn't even supported by a nominal reason to rank higher, superordinate to a fight that is a) better and b) does in fact have legit tangible stakes, in the traditional sense.

    But you didn't get that nuance from my post, because you can't see the forest for the trees with all your frothing at the mouth anti-old boxing infrastructure demagoguery, drinking the self-appointed saviors' kool-aid. Please feel at liberty to knock it right off with the gatekeeping and telling other fans whether they can or can't care about things like titles and alphabet rankings. Bit out of hand.

    nOOOooooo, at the very least it's in order of competitiveness/arc.

    Clearly the most one-sided fight was going to be the Casimero fight, so it's on the bottom. Charlo-Big D is the star power fight in that half of the card, so they top it off.

    Same in the second half of the card, famous Charlo at the top, sinking Payano and no traction Roman at the bottom.

    Someone sat down and tried to think about what it was that was happenignee tonight and programmed the fighter accordingly.

    Nery-Alameda is for the WBC world 122lb title. So, there are legitimate stakes.
    Roman-Payano is simply an eliminator for a world title.

    In terms of significance, nominal though it may be, Nary-Alameda ranks higher.
