Never seen or heard of him mate. Seems to be a lower domestic level type, slightly disappointing as there were talks of Lebedev for Okolie but maybe he wants a fight or two with McGuigan before taking a big step up
I think Fitzgerald could probably finish him between 5-8. I can’t see Rose having the power to worry Fitzgerald.
Once Rose's nose pops wide open again, it'll be a matter of rounds. Fitzy is too young, too fresh and is on an upward curve compared to Brian. Both are likeable chaps and I say this as a Prestonian talking about a Blackpudlian! Rose has had a decent career and this will be a good probable final pay day for him. Looking forward to this fight. Woah Scotty Fitzgerald!
Should be a formality but I’m looking forward to it too. Fitz needs to get out more frequently now and stay in camps.
This is a decent fight. Fitzgerald has lots of goodwill after beating Fowler - interesting how a relatively low level fighter (in the scheme of things) managed to make himself so disliked so quickly that lots of people were desperate for him to be beaten. Fitzgerald plans to fight Cheeseman after this which is also a good fight. I personally think he beats both, but he's quickly winning lots of fans. Something quite likeable about him, no self importance - a bit of a flawed character but obviously talented.
Listening to an interview the other day, reckon Fitz could end up with a Hatton esque following. Sold 1000 for the Liverpool show, probably do similar numbers for this one. If he then beats Cheeseman he could potentially have a really strong following. Hope he keeps grounded, and listens to the advice round him and doesn’t let it get to his head. Certainly shouldn’t be looking past Rose who’ll be coming with everything he can, upsets do happen.
Quite like this fight, hopefully sets Fitzy up for the Cheeseman fight. Probably gunna go along to this, Rose seems a sound bloke too

Fitz can retire and remain my P4P #1 until death if he wants It's an OK fight, not great. Okolie's is pants considering Lebedev was being touted.
