Fitzsimmons vs Burley

Burley by unanimous decision

 

I've seen enough of Burley to see he has serious skills. I question if Fitz's era was prehistoric and I haven't seen enough of him to pass judgement on that or him as a fighter. Without watching its the worst kind of speculation

 

Not fair question,for Fitz Was FORTY SIX years old, and in need of mony in Lang fight.

 

I have to say, that footage of Lang vs Fitz is hilarious! The way Fitz slowly crumbled on that last knockdown, with the black and white footage in the background, the moment looked very funny! Fitz was out cold! Looked like Grandpa falling out of a rocking chair.

 

Burley wins this IMO, he has the skillset and chin to deal with Fitz. Would be an intriguing fight to watch though, both guys setting traps.

 

In some ways Burley is the latter day Bob Fitzsimmons.

He had many of the same traits as a fighter and was known to knock heavyweights out cold using similar methods to Fitz.
