Pacman was willing to fight everyone just by his resume, and the timing of when he fought them. Floyd and Roy did not. That is my instinctive thoughts on it. This is where we post our opinions, and I feel they did not fight everyone like the other 3 would have. There was a confidence which Floyd and Roy did not have in themselves that the other 3 did..

Pac ducked a prime pbf because of testing he waited the older pbf out and when they fought got beaten easily. If the best fighter of the era in pbf isn't on your list then your list is a joke.
I'm not a pac fan but I look past all that and still put him on my list.

He is not on my list. He handpicked and that is how I rate it. If someone is not on my list which is on yours, their list is a joke? That is logical thinking. confidence and fighting everyone is what I consider greatness.

Because you let your bias prevent you from acknowledging greatness so yes that's a problem not only with you but far too many posters on this forum.
For example I wasn't a wlad fan but I'd be a fool for not recognizing his greatness and saying he's not a hof fighter and one of the best heavyweights ever.
You can tear down everyone's resume and claim they ducked this guy didn't fight that guy but in reality it's usually just hating at the end of the day.

Not at all. This is an opinion.. This is why we post on here. My criteria for greatness has to do with fighting everyone all the time and having confidence. I feel Floyd and Roy lacked some great character strengths, which affect how I rate them on an ATG list since that variable means a lot to me, and the fighters I admire would fight everyone. Look at Marvin Hagler, he knew he was the best or Chavez. Manny was the same. Vlad? Again criteria. he is bigger than most guys he fought, so I put that in as one of my variables, which helped Lennox or Fury. It is not their fault, but Tyson who was smaller gets credit for chopping down bigger guys. Just an opinion on a boxing opinion posting.

If you think everyone is going to have the same list you do, then that is rather naive. I didn't tear down anyone's listand being sensitive on here does not matter too much since these are opinions about boxers and nothing personal. I don't see not putting Roy and Floyd on my list is hating at all. That is just not true. That seems to be almost using the word hate when it does not apply.. How did I hate? I think they are top fighters, just not ATG top 5. I suppose I hate my favorite fighter Thomas Hearns because he is not on my list, although I think he is underrated.

I am not claiming they ducked they did. Floyd avoided top guys and Roy also. I wanted Roy to fighting Benn or Eubank or Nunn. He knew who to fight. If hating is saying that, this message board should be called www.hateforum24.com.

I respect your opinion, but we all have different criteria. That is why we all like different fighters and personalities.

The top four are easy, and indisputable.
    Roy
    Floyd
    Pac
    Pea

    The fifth....JCC / BHop / Canelo /Usyk / Bud / Loma / Oscar /

I lean towards BHop very slightly.

Roy belongs on an ATG list. He has wins over ATGs like Toney and Hopkins, and wins over solid fighters like McCallum and Hill. Those wins are better than ANYONE Chavez beat.

I didn't say he was not ATG. I said he was not in my top 5 since Leonard.
